EARLY EVENING'S Performance Discussion:
Transcriptions of J.S. Bach for electronic String Quartet
The Borromeo performs and discusses Bach's Electric Chords, an electronic reworking for string quartet of two Bach organ works:
Prelude and Fugue in E-flat Major, BWV 552, "St. Anne" and
Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor, BWV 582.
These "Early Evenings" forums are an exciting opportunity to get inside the minds of a composer the performers in an intimate setting. We talk about a single piece, sharing insights, and then give a complete performance of the piece discussed. And, as always, it's all about audience participation, so share your thoughts too!
This is a Free concert, underwritten by the New England Conservatory of Music
