The concert features the World Premiere of Fairouz's Double Concerto "States of Fantasy", which was commissioned by Ensemble 212 and written especially for violinist Nicholas Kitchen and cellist Yeesun Kim, of the Borromeo Quartet.

The Double Concerto is based on Jacqueline Rose's monumental book "States of Fantasy".

Fairouz's Second Symphony will be receiving it's New York premiere.
